My children love pasta in any form. I bought some oats pasta. Thought of making my dinner today with this oats pasta. I have added lot of vegetables, olive oil, mozzarella and cheddar cheese mix . Made sauce and added. Let us see how to make this pasta.
Preparation time around 30 minutes.
- 1 cup oats pasta.
- 4 baby corns
- 1/2 broccoli
- 6 pieces of mushrooms
- 1 big capsicum
- 1 white onion or normal one
- 5 to 6 garlic pods
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 4 to 5 tbsp olive oil or use butter little less.
- 1 tsp white pepper powder or black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp dry basil leaves or few fresh leaves
- 1/2 tsp dry Italian herbs
- 5 to 6 bog tomatoes pureed
- 1 heaped tsp corn flour.
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- mozzarella and parmesan cheese mix as per your need.
- salt to taste.
Boil 2 liters of water add little olive oil and salt. When it it started boiling add pasta. Cook well. Strain the water and keep aside.
Cut baby corn, broccoli, mushrooms onions and capsicum. in to pieces. You can use any vegetable of your choice.
In a pan add little olive oil and heat. When it is hot add chopped garlic. Saute.
Add onions and fry for few seconds in high flame. Then add the vegetables one by one and fry. Do not over cook.add salt. Add white pepper powder or black pepper and salt. mix well. Remove from fire.
In the same pan add little olive oil. Add little ginger garlic paste then freshly pureed tomato. (I blanched and removed skin then pureed ).
Add salt, pepper , basil leaves, Italian herbs, paprika, little ketchup.
Let it cook. Add little water.
Mix 1 tbsp corn flour in milk and add to sauce for more thickening.
keep on stirring well.
Let everything cook for 6 or 7 minutes.
Now add veggies and some cheese. Switch off the stove.
Add this sauce to Pasta.change in to baking dish.
On top garnish with cheese capsicum and tomatoes. Bake for 15 minutes on preheated oven.
