Method
We have to wash and soak the kavuni arisi overnight. Drain the water and spread on a towel. Let it dry completely.
Now in a small mixer jar add a handful of kavuni rice. Switch on the whipper button and break the rice. Do not powder. Make broken kavuni rice and store.

Ingredients.
Broken avuni Arisi 1/4 cup
Chopped green chillies. According to your taste.
Chopped or grated ginger as per your taste.
2 chopped shallots.
1 tsp oil.
1/2 tsp mustard seeds.
1/2 tsp jeeraor cumin seeds.
Few chopped curry leaves.
Salt to taste.
2 glass of light buttermilk.
Chopped coriander leaves .
Method.
Heat a pressure cooker. Add oil and heat.
Now add mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Add jeera and fry . Add chopped chillies, ginger curry leaves and shallots. Fry it. Now add
1/4 cup of broken kavuni rice. Mix well and add salt. Add 1 liter of water. Pressure cook for 6 to7 whistles. Switch off the stove. Let the pressure goes manually.
Now open the cooker and add the buttermilk. Mix very well. Do not heat. Add hot water according to the consistency of kanji or porridge. Drink this for breakfast
