Mor keerai is a very tasty dish, it is totaly different from mor kuzhambu. We can use any variety of keerai to make this. Mor means buttermilk or dahi in hindi. Keerai is green leafy vegetables. I used palak or spinach to make this curry. It goes very well with rice. Let us see how to amke this easy curry,
Preparation time approx 20 minutes.
- 1 cup curd.
- 2 bundles of chopped palak .
- 4 green chilles. ( change as per your taste.)
- 1/ 2 tsp turmeric powder.
- salt to taste
- 5 tbsp grated coconut.
- for seasoning.
- 1tbso cooking oil.
- 1/2 tsp mustard.
- 1 small red chilli
cook the palak in very little water. Keep aside.
Grind coconut and green chilles adding very little water. Make a paste.
Now grind the cooked palak .
Mix churned curd, palak , salt, turmeric powder and the coconut paste.
Add water if it is very thick. Adjust the consistency of the gravy.
Cook this till it boil.
Switch off the stove.
Now heat 1 tbsp oil. Whenit is hot add mustard seeds. When it started crackle add red chilli and add this to the gravy and serve.
