Aloo cauliflower Subzi

My children always like the combination of aloo and cauliflower. Today I tried  this recipe for roti. Tastes very good. Its a good combo for jeera rice and plain rice. Let us see how to make this.

Preparation time approx 30 minutes.

  • 1 very small cauliflower ( cut in to small florets)
  • 1 cup potato cut in to pieces.

  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil.
  • little oil for deep frying.

In a pan add some oil heat it. Deep fry the potato pieces . When it started changing the colour take it out.Keep this in a tissue paper. In the same way fry the cauliflower also. Do not over fry. Keep this in a tissue paper to absorb the extra oil.

In a 1/4 cup of water add dhaniya powder, amchur powder, chilli powder, thurmeric powder,Mix well and keep aside.

Fry for few more minutes. Let it become dry.

Add the fried cauliflower and potato and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well

Close it with a lid. Cook on slow fire. If neede sprinkle litle water and close it with a lid and cook.

When the aloo and cauliflower cooked well switch off the fire.  Mix well.
