Prosomillet dosa or panivaragu dosa.

Millets are very healthy source of vitamins. This millet is sourced from the traditional farmers of Meghalaya. It is beneficial to reduce the risk of diabetes. Today I am giving you simple way of using this millet. I made dosa. It’s crispy and yummy.

Let us see how to make this easy dish.

Preparation time approx. 10 minutes.

Soaking time. Overnight or 6 to 7 hours.

Fermentation time.. 7 to 8 hours.


3 cups prosomillet.

1 cup whole white urad daal.

1 tsp methi seeds.

1/ 4 cup poha.

Salt to taste


Wash and soak millet. Soak urad daal,methi seeds together.

Soak poha for 20 minutes.

First in a mixer grinder add urad daal and methi. Grind it adding minimum water. Take out in a container and keep aside.

Grind millet and poha. Do not add too much water. Grind this smoothly.

Mix both the batter . Add salt now. Mix well. Keep this for fermentation.

After fermenting make dosa.

Any chutney, sambar, idly powder, pickle will go with this.
