Moru Kachiyathu or Mor Charu
Moru means butter milk. It is very easy to make this. This gravy is very good when we are having stomach upset or in digestion. Pappad , pickle and this curry goes very well with hot rice.
Preparation time approx 10 minutes
- 2 cups of buttermilk
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- 1/4 tsp methi seeds
- 1/2 spoon jeera
- 3 green chillies
- 1/2 spoon crushed ginger
- 1/4 spoon asafotedia
- Curry leaves
Heat oil add all seasoning. When done add 2 cups of curd. If curd is very thick add some water. If you want thicker gravy add less water.
Stir continuously . ( butter milk may curdle if you leave the gravy unattended).
When it is boiled add salt and switch off gas.
Change the gravy to a serving dish
