Baked sliced potato:
I saw this recipe on one magazine. Taste is awesome.I didn’t use butter or cheese. Flavored with garlic ,olive oil, basil ,pepper powder. rosemary .or any herb of your choice.
Preparation time approx 45 minutes:
- 1 Large potato
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 pods of garlic
- Fresh basil leaves or powder
- Rosemary leaves or any herb of your choice.
Wash and clean the potato very well
Slice the potato thinly on one side.(Bottom part.)Then only it will sit properly to slice the potatoes
Keep the potato in a chopping board. sliced portion facing down.
Slice the potatoes as thinly as possible form one end to other. Take care not to cut full portion.
Heat olive oil.
Add chopped garlic and saute till it turn brown. Keep the oil.
Brush the oil on potatato. Sprinkle salt all over potato.
In a baking dish line with aluminium foil.
Keep the oiled potato.
Preheat your oven
Bake the potato at 180 degree till it is cooked.
( it may take 30 to 45 minutes depend on the size of your potato)
When it is cooked take out from oven. Sprinkle pepper powder, basil leaves or powder.
You can sprinkle any herb of your choice.
