Millet’s are very healthy and it is good for diet. Today I tried dosa with barnyard millet. I soaked the urad daal and barnyard separately and grind it. Fermented it overnight and made dosa.
Preparation time approx. 10 minutes
soaking time 5 to 6 hours or overnight.
fermentation. 8 hours.
Ingredients.
- 3 cup Barnyard millet
- 1 cup whole white urad dal
- 1/2 tsp methi seeds.
Method.
Soak methi seeds and urad daal together.
Soak barnyard millet separately.
Grind both separately in a wet grinder or a mixer grinder.
Mix both the batters with hands. Add salt.
Ferment the batter .
Once it is fermented we can make dosa.
Make dosa.
