pizza dosa

Pizza dosa is the same dish like normal pizza but base is made with dosa batter. Pizza dosa  is a good option for lunch box for kids or as an evening snack for kids.It is very easy to make. Let us see how to make this pizza.


Preparation time approx 15 to 20 minutes.


  • 1 cup dosa batter.

For topping or pizza sauce.

  • 2 big size tomato ( less sour tomatoes are good)
  • 1/2 tsp paparika
  • 1/4 tsp white or black pepper powder.
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup.
  • 1/2 tsp Italian herbs.
  • salt to taste.
  • 3 tbsp olive oil.
  •  3 tbsp chopped mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp sweet corn
  • 3 tbsp chopped capsicum
  • 2 tbsp chopped deseeded tomato
  • 2 tbsp olives ( i have added black olives)
  • salt to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste.
  • paparika
  • morzarella cheese


For sauce.

Heat 1 liter water and put the tomatoes. After a minute take out  and peel the skin. Grind it smoothly.

Heat a pan add olive oil . Add ginger garlic paste fry for few seconds.  Now add the pureed tomato, tomato ketchup , salt, Italian herbs, pepper powder, paparika. Mix well. Let it cook and become little thick like a sauce. Take out and keep aside.


Heat a dosa pan.Add little oil and spread it.  Pour 2 laddle full of dosa batter and spread evenly.Pour 1 tsp oil around the dosa.Make little thicker than normal dosa. Wait for few seconds. Now spread the tomato sauce all over the dosa.



Mix all the vegetables and add salt and paprika. Sprinkle this vegetables all over the dosa evenly.


Now sprinkle grated cheese all over the dosa. Cover cook on low flame til the cheese melted .
