I made black eyed beans subzi. I was having some leftover cooked beans, So I was planning to use this black eyed beans to make some evening snack.I have added some cooked potatoes and some more ingredients. I thought of avoiding oily food. Tried baking this. If you wish you can deep fry also. It is very easy and healthy evening snack. Let us see how to make this easy snack.
Preparation time approx. 40 minutes.
Ingredients.
- 1 cup cooked black eye beans.
- 1/4 cup levelled besan or channa daal powder
- 3 tbsp corn flour
- 2 boiled potatoes
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp amchur powder
- 1/2 Garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- chopped dhaniya leaves.
Method.
Mash the cooked black eye beans.
Mash the boiled potatoes well.
Add all the ingredients. If the dough is very tight sprinkle little water. Make a thick dough. Take equal portion from the dough and make into any shape of your choice.I made dough in to oblong shape and inserted one stick. Make the full dough like this.

( keep the sticks in water for 1 or 2 hours before baking.)
Pre heat the over for 180 degree.
Arrange the sticks in a baking tray and bake for 25 minutes. After 15 minutes turn the stick and bake.
Baking time may differ in different ovens. Bake till the rolls become red or brown.
Serve with green chutney or ketchup.

Delicious snacks! Children would enjoy these as after school snacks.
