Today i am presenting a healthy recipe for those who are on diet. I have already posted cauliflower pulao in my blog.
Cauliflower is high in fiber and B-vitamins. It can protect against cancer. It also contains fiber to enhance weight loss and digestion.
I made this dish, aloo poha style cauliflower rice without using poha or potatoes ( aloo).
Let us see how to make this easy healthy dish.
Preparationn time approx 15 minutes.
Ingredients.
- 2 cups of grated cauliflower.
- 1/2 cup of cauliflower stem cut in to big chunks.
- 3 green chillies.
- 1/2 tsp chopped ginger.
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
- 3 tsp ground nuts. ( optional)
- salt to taste.
- few curry leaves.
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
- 1 tbsp lemon juice.
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds.
- 1/2 tsp channa daal.
- 1/2 tsp urad daal.
Method.
Wash and grate your cauliflower . Measure it 2 cups.

Cut the stem of cauliflower in to little bigger chunks.

In a pan heat the oil. Add mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Now add ground nuts (if you are adding. ) Let it fry. Add both the daals. Let them become brown. Add curry leaves and green chopped chillies. Fry for few seconds.Add tumeric powder and mix well.
Now add the cauliflower stems. Keep the stove on medium flame. Sprinkle few drops of water and close the pan . Let it cook.
Now add the grated cauliflower and fry for few more seconds .Close it with a lid. Once it is cooked add salt. Do not over cook.
Mix well. Switch off the stove and add lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.

You can eat like this. I f you want you can serve with chuney also.
