I got this recipe from my friend Sujaya. The best part of this recipe is that there is a balance of wheat and all purpose flour, which I personally feel good about. The taste does not differ just cause of the wheat flour used. The sponginess of the crumble still remains the same irrespective. As I have not used eggs then also the crumble turned out to be very fluffy. Lets look at the step by step method with pictures.
Preparation time approx 15 minutes
Baking time approx 50 minutes (may vary from oven to oven)

- 1 cup sugar ( you can reduce to 3/4 cup if you want)

Method
Preheat the oven to 185 C. Prepare a baking pan and keep it ready.
Shift the flours together along with the spice powder. Next add raisins, salt and chopped apples.
In a separate bowl, mix sugar, oil, and yogurt until sugar is dissolved.
Pour the yogurt mixture into the flour mixture and stir until combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake at 185 C for 40 minutes mins. Then at 155 C for 10 mins (time may vary from oven to oven)
check by inserting a knife to see if it is done.
Let it cool
Serve with vanilla ice cream. 🙂
