Corn nacho chips are one of the most popular snacks for all . Guacamole is one of the best combo for this. It is very easy to make and healthy also. Today i am giving you two versions of making nachos chips.. One portion i baked and other portins i deep fried. Let us see how to make this.
Preparation time approx 20 to30 minutes.
Ingredients for .Nacho chips.
- 3/4 cups of corn flour.
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour or maida
- 1/2 tsp carom seeds. ( i have not added .)
- 1/2 tsp oregano.
- salt to taste.
- 3 tbsp oil.
- oil for deep frying.
Method.
Take a deep bowl add both flours, salt 3 tbsp oil, oregano. Mix well. Add water little by little and make thick dough. Knead in to a smooth dough.
Take 3 equal portion out of this dough.
Sprinkle little maida on the board. Roll the dough in to a round shape roti . Sprinkle maida and roll it.
Prick all over the nachos using a fork.
Cut the nachos in to equal triangle portions. ( cut this in to half ,again cut this in to equal portions)
Heat the oil.
When the oil is hot keep the stove on medium flame and deep fry the nachos.
Baking method.
Pre heat the oven for 5 minutes on 180 degrees.
Arrange the nachos in a baking tray. ( put a baking sheet on baking tray or apply oil on the tray)
Bake it for 20 minutes. After 10 minutes turn the nachos and bake the nachos. When it is crispy take it out.
Guacamole
Ingredients.
- 1 Avocado.
- 1 de seeded tomato cut in to pieces.
- 1 onion chopped in to small pieces.
- Hand full of chopped coriander seeds.
- 1 small green chilly.
- 1 tbsp lemon juice.
- salt to taste.
Method.
Scoop out the avocado. Mash the avocado. Mix all the other ingredients now and mix very well.
