Apple peda

Diwali is nearing and i thought of making something simple and yummy. I always like milkpowder sweets. For this Diwali i tried apple peda. Apple peda is very simple and with in 10 minutes it will be ready. With very few ingredients we can make this yummy peda. Even bigginer’s can try this. Let us see how to make this peda.

Preparation time approx 10 minutes.

Ingredients.

1 1/2 cup milk powder.

1/2 cup sugar.

1 tbsp ghee.

liquid colour.

few cloves.

few pistachio pieces

Method.

In a pan add sugar and 1/2 cup of water. Let it boil. Keep on stirring in between. When it come to sticky consistency add little milk powder. Keep the stove on medium flame. Stirr well. There should not be any lumps. Now add some more milk powder and mix. Then 3 rd time add all the milk powder and mix well. Add ghee. Keep on stirring. . With in 3 to 4 minutes the batter will become thick. Remove from the stove.

When it is little warm make round shape balls and press in the middle with one finger and keep aside. Insert one clove in the middle of the peda.

Using a brush apply liquid color to the peda.

Apply colour to all pedas.

Insert a small piece of pistachio in the middle of the peda.

Keep this for 10 minutes and use.
