Idly is one of the popular breakfast items . I tried quinoa oats Idly for breakfast. Quinoa helps to reduce cholesterol,blood sugar levels, lowering risk of diabetes and heart diseases.
We can make this idly instantly no need of soaking and fermenting. I have not added oil to make this idly. . We can eat this glutenfree idly for breakfast or dinner. I paired this with Ridge gourd gravy. We can make sambar or any chutney of your choice.let us see how to make this idly.
Preparation time approx 20 minutes
1/2 cup quinoa
1/2 cup rolled oats.
1/ 2 cup semolina or suji or rawa
1 chopped green chilli.
Little chopped ginger
1 tsp jeera
Little chopped coriander leaves. S
Salt to taste.
1 tsp eno salt.
Water appropriately 1 1/2 cup
Dry fry quinoa, oats and suji separately for 2 minutes. Cool this and powder.
Add salt and all ingredients other than eno salt. Add water and mix well. Keep this for 10 minutes. In the mean time steam the idly vessel with water.
Now add eno salt and 2 bsp water. Mix well.
Pourt this batter in idly mould and steam this for 10 minutes.
