Koki

Koki is a break fast dish from Rajasthan. It is very easy to make this thick wheat flour roti. Some people are adding Chick pea flour to make this. Today I have made koki with wheat flour. The texture of koki is little thick and crispy. Let us see how to make koki.

Preparation time approx 20 to 30 minutes.

Ingredients.

1 cup wheatflour

3 big size chopped onions.

5 chopped green chillies.

Salt to taste.

1/4 cup Finley chopped coriander leaves.

Ghee for making koki.

Method.

In a bowl mix all ingredients. Add water little by little and make a soft stiff dough.

Take a small portion from the dough and make roti’s.

Heat a tawa. Put one koki. In a medium heat let it cook. Flip it to other side. Add enough ghee to roast. Press the koki with a cloth or wooden press.

Make the koki little crisp. Serve with pickle and yogurt.
