Besan chela or gram flour vegetable pancake
Besan chela one of the easy evening snack liked by all. My amma named it vegetable omelet. We can make different varieties of cheelas. Here I am giving cheela with tomato ,capsicum and onion. We can use any kind of veggies or paneer, cheese ,corn or any type of greens of your choice.
Vegetable besan cheela is my daughters favorite evening snack. When ever my daughter visit home she will ask me to make this.
Preparation time :approx 10 minutes
Serves 2

Ingredients:
- 1 cup heaped gram flour ( besan)
- 1/4 spoon dhaniya powder
- 1 tsp chopped ginger green chilly
- 1 chopped small onion
- 1/4 cup capsicum cut in to very small pieces
- 1/4 cup grated carrots
- 1/4 cup tomatoes cut into small pieces.
- 1 tbsp chopped dhaniya leaves.
- 1/4 spoon turmeric powder
- A pinch of asofotedia
- Salt to taste
- Water to mix the the besan
Method:
In a big bowl add gram flour or besan, dhaniya powder,salt,haldi,asafotedia. Add water . With a whisk mix the besan without lumps.Add all other ingredients and mix well.

Add water to get a thick consistency.It should not be thick or too watery.
Heat a nonstick pan pour a ladle full of batter and spread in to round shape.Keep the gas in medium flame. Pour 1/2 spoon cooking oil .

When one side is cooked flip and cook the other side. Take out and serve with green chutney or tomato chutney.
