Murmura Poha Mixture

I always like to munch something in between meals with less oil. For diet conscious people this mixture is idle. With very few ingredients and spices we can make this mixture with in 10 to 15 minutes. 

Preparation time approx 10 to 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Murmura 
  • 1 cup very thin poha
  • 1/4 cup groundnuts 
  • 1/4 cup roasted channa.( chutney dhal)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Kashmiri chilly powder ( adjust according to taste)
  • 1/2 amchur powder
  • 1/2 tsp asafotedia powder
  • 1/4 cup curry leaves
  • 3 slit green chillies
  • Small pieces of coconut 
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala (optional)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 

Method

In a wide nonstick pan add oil and heat. Once it is hot add mustard seeds. When it started cracking add curry leaves .

Add coconut pieces . Let it become brown. Now add ground nut. Let it roast. Then add roasted channa. Fry till it turn color. 

Add asafotedia ‘chilly powder, salt, chaat masala,amchur powder. Saute in low flame. Do not burn this. 

Add poha and fry for few minutes. When it is fried add Murmura. Mix everything well. Switch of stove.
