One of the easiest, healthiest salad made with carrot 🥕gratings and seasoned with few ingredients. We can have this as a side dish for rice or we can eat like that also. With in 10 minutes salad will be ready. Let us see how to make this salad.
Preparation time approx 10 minutes.
Ĺ.
2 medium carrots grated.
3 finely chopped green chillies.
1 small piece ginger. ( grated)
1tbsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp urad daal
1/ 2 tsp channa daal.
1/4 tsp asafoetida powder
Few chopped curry leaves.
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves.
1 tbsp lemon juice.
Salt to taste.
Method.
Peel and grate the carrots. Keep this in a serving bowl.
In a pan heat oil then add mustard seeds. Let it splutter. Then add daals. Let the daal change its colour then add chopped green chillies, curry leaves, asafoetida powder. Add this to carrots. Add salt and lemon juice. Mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with rice.
