Spring onion parathas

I have ordered spring onions online. When it comes it was a huge bundle. I have tried many dishes using spring onions. Today I am giving you an excellent paratha with spring onions. It is very easy to make. We can have this with yogurt, raitha or pickle. I made brinjal 🍆raitha for this. Let is see how to make this yummy parathas.

Preparation time approx 15 minutes.

Resting time 20 minutes.


1 cup wheat flour/ atta.

1 cup chopped spring onions and its leaves.

1 tsp redchilly powder.

1/ 2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp jeera powder

1/ 2 tsp coriander powder.

1/ 4 tsp black salt/ Kala namak

Salt to taste.

1tbsp oil.Ghee/ oil for cooking


Take a deep bowl . Add all the ingredients. Mix well with a spoon.

Now add water little by little to make a smooth dough. Spring onions leaves water. So do not add too much water at a time.

Close it and rest this for 20 minutes.

Divide the dough in to equal parts and roll it. Dust with wheat flower.

Heat a tawa. Put one paratha on hot tawa and cook on medium fire. Spread little ghee or oil on paratha and flip it to other side. Dust with ghee. ( We can use ghee or oil according to our taste).

Cook both sides and take out.

Serve with raitha.
