I have already posted ragi/ nachni/kezvargu/Finger millet aappam recipe with coconut.
Today I am giving you very easy Aappam without coconut. No need of adding soda bicarbonate or eno. It is easy to make we can have this with any of your favourite chutney or stew. I have not used any oil to make this Aappam.

Preparation time 10 minutes.
Soaking time 7 hours or overnight.
Fermentation time 7 to 8 hours
Ingredients.
1/2 cup Ragi.
1/2 cup Idli rice.
2 tsp urad daal
1 tsp methi seeds
1/2 cup cooked rice
Salt to taste.
Method.
Wash and soak Ragi, rice, urad daal, methi seeds together over night or 7 to 8 hours.
Grind this in a mixer grinder with cooked rice smoothly adding salt
Ferment it.
Mix the batter nicely Batter should be little more thinner than dosa batter.
Heat Aappa chatti/kadai.
Pour this and make a round shape..
Cover cook. When done remove and serve with chutney or stew.
