I made this burger bun for my dinner. My family enjoyed this. I learnt this from one of my friend. Very easy to make this bun. We can bake this burger bun for parties and miniature of this as a starter also. Let us see how to bake this.

Preparation time approx including sitting time for dough 2 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients:

350 gram all purpose flour or plain flour
2 tbsp milk powder
2 leveled tbsp sugar
1 heaped tsp salt.
Active yeast 7 grams or 1 tbsp
Lukewarm water for mixing.
Extra flour for dusting while kneading

For pattice
1 potato boiled
1/4 cup boiled mutter
1 green chilli
1/4 spoon Garam masala masala
Salt to taste
3 tbsp oil

One lettuce leaf
Little ketchup
1 tbsp corn flour mixed in water.
Breadcrumbs .
Method

For making the dough:

Mix all the ingredients. Knead very well till it become soft.

Cover it and keep it.

After 2 hours it will be double in size.

Again punch all the air down. Knead them well further for couple of minutes.

For pattice

Mix mashed potato ,boiled mutter ,green chilliy, salt, Garam masala. Mix everything well.
Make round small pattice. Dust with corn flour water dip in bread crumbs and shallow fry.
Do not make very big size pattice.

options. You can make any pattice of your choice. you can bake this and stuff also.

Make round balls out of the dough

Dust the platform and roll them like chappatis

Keep one pattice in the middle of the rolled dough. Add lettuce on the top add ketchup. ( you can add cheese slice or mayyonise of your choice)

Cover the pattice with the rolled dough. Do not over fill.

Now give them a good milk wash for glazing buns. Or egg wash. Dip the brush in fresh milk and dust it over the buns. Or with beaten eggs.

Sprinkle little white thil over the bun.

Pre Heat the oven

Arrange the buns on baking tray.
Bake them for 20 to 25 minutes on 160 to 180 degrees.
